It is very simple to post your room on 4myrent.com. You can do this by basically clicking on the post your room at the top right side button and follow the instructions given.

However, if you are a new user, you are required to create an account with us by registering first on our site. Once an account is created, you are good to go. You are free to log in anytime with your username and password to post a room.

To delete a room, you need to log in first. Then on your dashboard, you click on my properties, a list of the rooms you posted will appear. Next you select the room you want to delete and click on the actions button beside it. This gives you the option to delete.

To edit an ad, go to your dashboard and click on my properties. Once the list of rooms appear, select the room you want to edit and click on the actions button. You can proceed to edit by clicking on the edit button.

To set a new password on 4myrent.com, please login to your account, on your profile page, scroll down to see the option to change your password.

If you have forgotten your 4myrent.com password, you can:

  • Go to the log-in page and click on the ‘forgot your password’?
  • If you have created an account via Facebook, you will not have a 4myrent.com password. You can log in to your account via Facebook or Google (Gmail) without a password.

Room ads appear for 3 months, unless you delete them earlier.

Tip: you can keep track of your ads easily by logging in to your account and visiting your ‘my properties’ page!

You may probably not find your room ad due to one of the following reasons:
• It is still under review – this will show on your ‘my properties’ page.
• It may have violated our posting rules – once you do not accurately follow our laid down procedure and rules regarding postings, your room ad might not appear.
• You have used up your free ad allowance
If after 24 hours, you receive no response from us, you might have given us the wrong contact details when you posted the room ad. You could try posting again or contact us.

All room ads are manually reviewed – if your ad does not conform to posting rules it will be rejected. You will receive a mail if your ad is rejected for appropriate changes to be made.

Once this happens, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will gladly help you out.

4myrent.com offers paid features and advertisements to help companies and organizations to promote their ads, enable the sales of advertised items, and give businesses a larger platform to be known. Revenue is generated from these.

Our site does not allow room ads that contain:

  • an item that is illegal in Ghana
  • an item that is not located in Ghana
  • an invalid phone number or email address
  • an unrealistic offer
  • offensive language
  • offensive pictures
  • text in the title or description that is not related to the advertised item
  • pictures that do not match or clearly show the advertised item
  • text in the first picture (except logos and product codes)
  • a non-specific item or service, e.g. a description of a company in general terms
  • a URL link that is not relevant to the advertised item
  • offers and requests for items in the same ad
  • exact same content as another ad, re-published within 7 days.
  • multiple items in the same ad

It is free, simple and easy to sign up for an account on 4myrent.com. To do this, please click on the sign up/register button on the home page and follow the instructions. You have the option of signing up with an email address, Google (Gmail) or through your Facebook account.

Once this is done, a link will be sent to your email with further instructions on how to verify your email address

Logging in to your account is very easy. Go to the log in page and enter your email address and your 4myrent.com password. If you created your account via Facebook, simply click on continue with Facebook or Gmail and follow the instructions.

To log out of your account, click the log out option.

To change the details on your account, log in to your account and on your dashboard, click on my profile page and make the necessary corrections.

If you are finding it difficult to log in to your account, please check that you have:

  • Signed up for an account.
  • Entered the correct email address and password on the log in page.

4myrent.com seeks to create a safe and reliable platform for both renters and home owners. In an attempt to discourage fraudulent actions, we strive to identify every home or room owner who posts room ads on our site. Once you post a room for the first time on our site, our team will contact you within 24 hours to verify your identity.

It’s not absolutely free to post a room  on 4myrent.com.

If you’re having challenges finding a room in your preferred location, it’s possible that you’re being too specific with your search filters with regards to the location. You could expand your criteria by searching for a larger location and then proceeding to narrow your preferences from there. Also ensure you type your preferred location in the search space provided first before going ahead to search for a room of your choice

When you see a room you are interested in, you can email or call the owner directly after checking their contact details on the site by clicking the image of the room you are interested in on the home page.

Our site features rooms in most locations nationwide. However, we may not have room/home postings from all regions at the time of your search. Please check back with us regularly, as we add listings in new areas all the time.
